Isaac Clarke escaped the ship on a shuttle and ended up on the Sprawl in a straight jacket because of his Marker induced hallucinations, Nolan Stross was part of Dead Space: Aftermath that told of his story - regardless how bad the film was. He turns around and says while at the same time Harris' RIG health is turning red, "Soon my child, you will be ready to take on the task and fulfil my purpose for unitology - and for all of us. You are my instrument and your target is Isaac Clarke." Mercer points at the screen with a frozen still of Isaac. Mercer gets up, looks at and says to Harris before the camera starts fading into and out of darkness, "I created you, i have control over you and you have control over all my other children so i will never be harmed. While the transformation is starting to take effect on Harris, Mercer has sat down looking at a screen from a camera showing Isaac Clarke, Chen, Hammond and Kendra entering the ship from the shuttle bay. Ultimately Harris ends up being caught by Mercer and he injects necromorph DNA into Harris' brain. If EA wants to reinvent the wheel? Then going through a DLC from before the Kellion arrived and building a whole big story around that could be interesting, you play as Brant Harris who was on Aegis VII before all contact was lost and then ended up on the Ishimura, the whole ship falls prey to the Necromorph invasion in a hurry although Harris tries to stem the tide, it's pointless as they keep coming. There are also comics that tell the stories of other characters involved in between games. I can't see a DLC to bridge between games.
